Joe Waldron provides technical and laboratory support mainly within the area of Analytical Chemistry. Over the last 30 years Joe has supported various subjects including; Chemistry, Geology, Environmental and Forensic Sciences.

Dr Varsha Warrier is a Lecturer in Forensic Science with a research background in Forensic Anthropology, specifically within the areas of virtual anthropology and computational statistics. Her subject interests include Forensic Anthropology, Crime Scene Investigation, Forensic Entomology, and Forensic Statistics.

Associate Professor (Research) in Audio Engineering

Dr Bruce Wiggins teaches in our Audio Engineering disciplines. He focuses on immersive audio and digital signal processing. His research in immersive audio has led to international impact outside of academia, and was highlighted in our Research Excellence Framework exercises in both 2014 and 2022.

Omari Williams is the programme leader for BA (Hons) Sport Management. Omari's role enables him to provide a commercial focus for the degree, taking lead on partnerships with Derby County Football Club, Team Derby and Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

Professor of Advanced Manufacturing and Director of the Institute of Innovation in Sustainable Engineering

Paul is a reader in Advanced Manufacturing. Paul has gained extensive experience in advanced manufacturing spanning 36 years in the transport sector, both in industry and within HEI research organisations. He gained his PhD at the University of Aston by completing a manufacturing research project in continuous extrusion that was funded by British Nuclear Fuels.
