Professor Farid Meziane is the Head of the Data Science Research Centre at the University of Derby and the Chair of the College of Science and Engineering Research Committee. He has over 25 years' experience in higher education. He is developing applied research to solve real-life problems using data science and Natural Language techniques.

Caroline Mills is the Senior Forensic Technician in the College of Science and Engineering, providing technical and laboratory support for students, lecturers and researchers.

Reema Mistry is a lecturer in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation and module leader on Sports Specific Rehabilitation. She also provides teaching, learning and assessing activities across the programme. Reema has over five years of experience working as an active sports therapist in football and ice hockey. She has been a member of the Society of Sports Therapists since 2017.
