Schools and Colleges Liaison

The Schools and Colleges Liaison Team work closely with schools and colleges to provide a link with the University. We offer an exciting and inspirational programme of free events which have been designed to showcase the breadth of options available to students at the University of Derby.

Activities for your students

We have a range of activities available for your students, whether you are looking for something virtual, pre-recorded or to visit us on-campus. Our events have been designed to showcase the breadth of course options and future careers available to students considering their next steps.

We can work with you to develop your visit day based on the timings and content that works best for you, and may be able to support towards your transport costs. Therefore please get in touch to discuss your requirements.

Our Year 10 Discovery Day will be hosted on Tuesday 5 July. This event is a great opportunity for your students to see what university life is like. They will meet current students, look around our fantastic facilities and learn more about the wealth of opportunities available to them.

'Careers in...' talks

Are your students passionate about a subject, but don't know what their future career could look like? They can hear from our academic experts and current students, who will discuss the exciting careers on offer within the industry, and share their experiences studying and working in their chosen field.
