Schools and Colleges Liaison

The team works closely with schools and colleges to provide a link with the University. We offer an exciting and inspirational programme of free events which have been designed to showcase the breadth of options available to students at the University of Derby.

The health and wellbeing of our staff, students, and visitors is of utmost importance. To ensure this is prioritised and in line with the latest Government advice on coronavirus, we are putting measures in place to reduce the number of people on campus. If you have any questions about school and college visits, and how we can facilitate a safe visit for your students, please get in touch with us at

Activities for your students

We have a range of activities available for your students, whether you are looking for something virtual, pre-recorded or to visit us on-campus. Our events have been designed to showcase the breadth of options available to students considering Higher Education.

Information, advice and guidance

We can deliver live virtual talks, including a Q&A, to your students on request. These sessions will allow students to find out more about higher education and ask our experts questions about their options.

We can offer subject-specific talks for your students, dependant on academic availability. These could be live or pre-recorded and can give your students insight into higher education and support their level 3 curriculum.
