Looking for Diagnostic Radiography?

Diagnostic Radiography is one of our most popular courses and places for this year are now full.

But there’s another way to start your journey towards becoming a diagnostic radiographer at Derby.

You can study Biomedical Science BSc (Hons) before progressing to our Diagnostic Radiography (Pre-Registration) MSc. This is a postgraduate course specifically designed for graduates who want to become qualified diagnostic radiographers.

It’s one of only a small number of pre-registration Diagnostic Radiography MSc courses in the UK, and currently the only one in the region.

Same career destination. A different route to get there.

And you can begin that journey now, at the University of the Year 2027.

Want to talk through your route into Diagnostic Radiography? Call our team on 01332 592026 and we’ll help you explore the best way forward.

We are gold

In September 2023, the University of Derby received the prestigious Gold rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) 2023, making it one of the top universities in the UK for exceptional student experience and outcomes.

The TEF, administered by the Office for Students, is a national initiative designed to drive improvements and promote excellence in areas most valued by students: teaching quality, learning environment, and the achievement of positive results from their studies.

In addition to achieving an overall Gold rating, the University of Derby excelled in the individual components of the TEF, achieving Gold for student experience and Silver for student outcomes.
