Clearing Open House Events

Join us at an Open House event to see and experience everything that the University of Derby has to offer before starting in September.

You’ll be able to visit all our inspiring teaching sites that are filled with industry-standard facilities, find information on student services and admissions, and tour our award-winning halls of residence that will be available to you.

Whether you’re looking for a university place or considering a change of direction through Clearing, coming to see our campus in person is the best way to get a sense of whether Derby is right for you.

Our friendly students and staff will help you to make the most of your visit and will be on hand to answer questions about your course and student life in Derby.

There’s free parking on-site, and we’ve gathered some useful information to help you plan your journey.   

Plan your visit

There’s no need to book, you can simply turn up on the dates below at any point within the scheduled times.

• Thursday 15 August: 10am – 6pm
• Friday 16 August (Derby and Chesterfield): 10am – 4pm
• Saturday 17 August: 10am – 2pm
• Sunday 18 August: 12pm – 2pm
• Monday 19 August: 10am – 2pm
• Saturday 24 August: 10am – 2pm

The Open House will finish at the stated times, so we recommend arriving at least an hour before the end time to make the most of your visit.
