About

I am a computer games programmer with a decade of experience working on a wide range of projects, primarily specialising in the assistive and educational properties of videogames and associated hardware elements.

The current aim of my research is to investigate the impact of cognitive load on an individual’s susceptibility to cybersickness.

Cybersickness is a major barrier to the uptake of VR HMD into industrial and entertainment environments, with estimates suggesting between 30 and 70% of users suffer some form of cybersickness, identifying the causes of cybersickness and tolerances of individuals will allow for more widespread adoption of these technologies.

Thesis title

Evaluation of Detecting Cybersickness via VR HMD Positional Measurements Under Realistic Usage Conditions.
