Zafar is a senior lecturer in law on the LLM – Legal Practice Course. Zafar has over 27 years experience working as a Partner in large regional and national solicitors firms. He brings a wealth of experience to the Derby Law School.

Dr Tina Bass is an Associate Professor and Head of Discipline (Business and Management). She has a Doctorate of Social Science (DSocSci) from the University of Leciester and her research interests are currently focused upon change management and higher education pedagogies. Recently she has taken an interest in the impact of social media upon business.

Henriette Bergstrøm is a Lecturer in the Psychology of Criminal Investigations. Her main research is on psychopathy, serious violent and sexual offenders, and risk assessment. She has presented work at multiple peer-reviewed international conferences, and is engaged in multiple international research projects.

David Best is a Professor of Criminology, he undertakes research around the subjects of addiction recovery and desistance from crime. He leads research into work on desistance from offending, recovery capital and pathways to addiction recovery

Senior Lecturer Human Resource Management and Programme Leader BA (Hons) Business Management (HRM)

Sheena Bevitt is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Business Management (HRM) degree and the Academic Lead supporting Business School students taking a year in work placement. Before joining the University, Sheena worked in a range of HR and operational management roles including time with Royal Mail, J Sainsburys, and Marks and Spencer.

Steve is a Lecturer in Business Management and has joined the University having been Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Business Studies degree at a FE College for three years. Steve's teaching responsibilities are predominantly on the BSc in Business Management (Online) and the Chartered Managers Institute Degree Apprenticeships.
