Alison Lawson

Alison is Head of the Discipline of Marketing and Operations in Derby Business School, working with a team of expert lecturers across marketing, logistics, supply chain, purchasing and information technology management. Alison supervises PhDs in marketing and publishing and contributes to teaching in these areas. Prior to joining the University in 2010, she worked in publishing.

Dr Sung-Hee Lee has developed broad understanding in sociology and social policy, mainly focused on care and gender issues within the context of comparative study between Europe and East Asia. She is currently expanding this research agenda into a comparative study covering other East Asian countries such as Japan, Taiwan and China.

He has many years of sales and sales management to call upon when teaching as well as knowledge gained from running his own business as a business consultant and coach. Dave has now moved roles and uses his expertise to help local businesses grow and develop their offer to the market.

Pouria is Programme Leader of the CIPS Centre of Excellence Study Centre at the University of Derby. He is a Chartered Member of Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS) and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Logistics and Transportation (UK). He supervises student projects at undergraduate, postgraduate and DBA (Doctor of Business Administration) level.

She also teaches Equity and Succession and Contract Law on the Law programme and has been nominated for internal and external awards for her teaching, and commitment to employability.

Dr Tim Marangon is a Senior Lecturer based in the Law School and is the Module Leader for several undergraduate modules. Broadly speaking, Dr Marangon's primary research interests lie in the areas of the law of tort, law at the end of life, and legal education.
