Qualifications

Experience in industry

I have experience working with various UK government agencies, such as Public Health England and DEFRA while working as a Research Fellow at Cranfield University. I also worked on the project WetlandLIFE (funded by the Natural Environment Research Council, the Arts and Humanities Research Council, the Economic and Social Research Council and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs under the Valuing Nature Programme). WetlandLIFE was an interdisciplinary multi-university project utilising a range of natural and social science research techniques, as well as approaches from the humanities and the arts, to understand some of these values of wetlands from both a historical and contemporary perspective. My role in the project was to conduct an economic valuation, scenario analysis, risk assessment and economic impact assessment of ecosystem services, for a few selected English wetlands.

Apart from this, I also have experience working as a researcher in various Indian federal government agencies such as the National Institute of Science, Technology and Development (NISTADS-CSIR) and the Indo-French Centre for Promotion of Advanced Research (CEFIPRA).
