Nick is a Senior Lecturer in the Institute of Education. He is part of the Collaborative Partnership team that is responsible for the coordination of the Foundation Degree in Children's and Young People, and he is also part of the BA(Hons) Education Studies, the BA(Hons) Child and Youth Studies and the iPGCE teams.

Ava is a Senior Lecturer in Theatre Arts. She also works as a professional actor, director, programmer and producer. She has worked in theatre, film, commercials and television.

Lecturer in Journalism

As a lecturer in Journalism, Caroline Jones is responsible for teaching core and advanced aspects of reporting techniques and practices across a range of year groups and cohorts. Her primary area of focus is digital best-practice in relation to online journalism.

Dr Rhiannon Jones is an artist researcher, specialising in civic practice. She is resident artist at Primary Studios, Nottingham, UK. She is currently a researcher for the Digital and Material Artistic Research Centre (DMARC), College of Arts at the University of Derby.

Postgraduate Research Student

Peter Jordan-Turner is a postgraduate research student in the College of Arts, Humanities and Education. He is also an Associate Lecturer in 2 Photography modules, and a Marketing module in the College of Business, Law and Social Sciences.

As a Lecturer in the Institute of Education, Dr Joseph leads and teaches modules on several programmes across the Institute, and is the Assistant Programme Leader for the International PGCE programme.

Sam is President of the African Theatre Association (UK), and is on the judging panel of the Wole Soyinka Pan African Prize for Literature and is a member of the jury for the Nollywood Film Awards (UK).
