Peter Lansley is a Lecturer in Journalism, football reporter and FA coach mentor. Peter is particularly involved with the Football Journalism courses and has many years of first-hand experience in journalism, where he covered a wealth of football tournaments.

As a Senior Lecturer in History, Ruth Larsen is the Programme Leader for undergraduate History programmes. She has research expertise in British History of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, especially relating to gender history and the history of the country house.

Martin Leedham is the Technical Instructor in Print within the School of Art. Martin has over twenty years experience of working in education and has been at the University of Derby since 2010. Martin is passionate about print / printmaking and helping students gain print skills.

Drawing is at the core of Richards practice. He is particularly interested in sketchbooks, gathering ideas exploring various drawing processes and illustrative outcomes. His research practice explores drawing, digital process and printed in relation to commercial Illustration and directly informs my teaching.

Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Arts

Associate Professor Caroline Locke works as an artist and artistic researcher. Her research is attuned to natural ecologies. Finding ways to understand and respond to new geological age, she develops kinetic sculptures, large-scale immersive installations, and sound works. One focus of her research is on identifying the need for closer connection and greater understanding of nature.
