Alistair Hodge
Head of School, Humanities and Journalism

After many years as a business leader in the creative and cultural industries, Alistair Hodge is now Head of the School of Humanities and Journalism. His MA (Hons) is in Modern History from St Andrews University, Scotland, and he studied toward a PhD, in seventeenth-century history, at Lancaster University.

Professor in Arts & Health

Susan Hogan is Professor of Arts and Health. Susan has wide-ranging interests in visual culture, from to the history and development of the arts and health, including the use of the arts in propagating health messages and research findings, to artistic and performative research methods. Her books are used in the training of arts and health professionals internationally.

Clive is a a Senior Lecturer in Department of Therapeutic Arts within the School of Allied Health and Social Care.

Joint Honours lead for the College of Health and Social Care, Subject leader for Dance and Movement Studies and lecturer on the Creative Expressive Therapies programme

David is a senior lecturer with the Therapeutic Arts team. This means that he can use his experience as an acupuncturist and oriental health practitioner to give creative arts students fresh perspectives on the use of the arts to enhance health and wellbeing through approaches such as mindfulness and movement.
