Susan is a Senior Lecturer and Stage One Leader in Initial Teacher Education in the College of Arts, Humanities and Education for the BEd and MEdu in Primary Education with QTS, and Lead Admissions Tutor for the undergraduate and postgraduate teacher education programmes. She is also a personal professional academic tutor for students across the undergraduate programmes.

Ani Thomas is a Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education at the University of Derby. She has experienced teaching across primary schools in the UK and Australia, is an experienced mentor and loves lecturing. She is passionate about learning and teaching.

Craig currently works as the Media Photography Technician, maintaining and running the different photography areas. This includes the darkrooms, film processing areas and photography studios. He also works in the Media Loan Hub helping with the photography equipment.

Lecturer in Therapeutic Arts

Katy Tozer is a Lecturer in Therapeutic Arts and has been teaching at the University of Derby since 2012. Katy is a HCPC registered Dramatherapist and has worked in a variety of clinical settings such as CAMHS and other mental health services. She currently teaches on the MA Dramatherapy and BA (Hons) Creative Expressive Therapies programmes.

Mary-Ann is a Postgraduate Research Student who particularly focuses on the literature of Janet Frame, Toni Morrison and Marge Piercy. She explores the language of traumatic experience and healing, the use of healing art as a recovery medium from mental health issues.
