Drawing is at the core of Richards practice. He is particularly interested in sketchbooks, gathering ideas exploring various drawing processes and illustrative outcomes. His research practice explores drawing, digital process and printed in relation to commercial Illustration and directly informs my teaching.

Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Arts

Associate Professor Caroline Locke works as an artist and artistic researcher. Her research is attuned to natural ecologies. Finding ways to understand and respond to new geological age, she develops kinetic sculptures, large-scale immersive installations, and sound works. One focus of her research is on identifying the need for closer connection and greater understanding of nature.

Rubi is part of the team that delivers the International Postgraduate in Education (iPGCE)  and the International Postgraduate Certificate of Education (with International Qualified Teacher Status (iQTS) to international students online.

Dr. Gemma Marmalade is Assistant Head of Discipline to Art and Photography in the School of Art; Programme Leader for BA Hons. Photography; an internationally exhibited artist, researcher, and award-winning academic specialising in experimental approaches to the radical intersections of photography and performance, playfully negotiating the authenticity of the speaking voice.

Lecturer in Dance | Programme Leader Dance – Déda

Choreography is at the core of Alice’s practice, exploring digital projection and dance with her company Adaire to Dance. This research feeds into her teaching on the MA Dance & Choreography and she is committed to training and nurturing the talent of aspiring dance artists.
