About

My role spans the Institute of Education. I have led modules on QTS and non-QTS bearing programmes, and am currently Assistant Programme Leader for the International PGCE.

Teaching responsibilities

I lead and teach on modules for the International PGCE, the Education Foundation programme, Education Studies, Child and Youth Studies, and the Master of Education programme.

I teach/supervise across levels 3 to 8. Modules taught include 'Children's Literature' (level 3), Psychology and Education (level 4), Introduction to Teaching English Language and Literature (level 5), The Professional Practitioner (level 6), Research Informed Practice (level 7) and Inclusive Practice (level 7).

Research interests

I am interested in the History of Education, and in its intersection with the Philosophy of Education.
