About Agard Court

Agard Court offers students modern, vibrant, self-catering accommodation in flats of four to six bedrooms. It is an excellent location for students studying at next door's One Friar Gate Square, and those who are based across the road at the The Cavendish Building. The hall is also conveniently close to Derby city centre with its restaurants, bars and shops.

Each room has a small double bed, storage including a wardrobe and bookshelves, a desk and chair and its own ensuite facilities.

There is both wired and wireless internet access in all rooms. 

All kitchens at Agard Court have an adjoining social space with a TV and sofas.  All shared kitchens contain:

• cooker
• fridge freezer
• microwave
• kettle
• toaster
• sink and drainer
• cupboards
• worktops
• table and chairs or breakfast bar.

The kitchens are cleaned regularly, by our cleaning team but residents are responsible for keeping their own rooms clean and tidy.

• 0.5 miles/10-minute walk to Derby city centre
• 0.5 miles/10-minute walk to Britannia Mill
• 0.7 miles/17-minute walk to Markeaton Street
• 1.3 miles/30-minute walk to Kedleston Road

Unibus

All students can use the Unibus service to travel between sites, to Derby city centre and to the train station.

Parking

There is no on-site parking at Agard Court.

If you require parking, you can:

• Apply for a room at Agard Court but make private arrangements for parking nearby. Three-month, six-month and 12-month permits are available. Find out more about parking at Chapel Street or Bold Lane.
• Apply for a room at Agard Court and be put on a waiting list to get a space at a nearby hall of residence. Please note that this does not guarantee you will get a parking space as priority will be given to students living at the particular hall.
