Enscite is a partnership between the University of Derby and Aston University. The programme supports Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) within the aerospace, rail or automotive supply chain. Enscite is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

What is the event about?

This in-person event offers an opportunity to create new business relationships, whilst learning from a team of experts who specialise in helping small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) grow. You’ll also be able to explain more about the services and products your business offers, so that you can provide and receive support from others within the region.

Learn new tools and techniques and connect with like-minded business professionals by attending these informative sessions.

Strategies for SME growth

Professor Mark Gilman has impacted the growth of thousands of SMEs through research and coaching interventions with ambitious business owners. In this session he will share some of the tools and techniques he has found most useful in his 40 years of supporting leaders, so that you can learn how to grow and transform your own organisation.

Business showcase

This session offers an opportunity to collaborate and drive business opportunities with others working in the rail, aerospace and automotive sectors. Present your business to others attending the event, whilst learning more about the companies you would like to partner with.

The session will be facilitated by Martin Horsman of Connetick. Martin is a Business Leadership Consultant, Growth and Digital Marketing Specialist and senior rail industry professional.
