Session Overview

This interactive, face-to-face, workshop is ideal for students, academics and those working in industry and corporate settings across all levels.

Participants will be introduced to the key stages of systematic reviews, and how to develop a review protocol and a search strategy. The session will also introduce how to conduct data extraction, risk of bias assessment and effect sizes in systematic reviews. Finally, through a combination of theoretical insights and hands-on exercises, participants will gain the expertise needed to critically appraise, conduct, and interpret systematic reviews and meta-analyses.

This training will be led by experienced quantitative researchers from the University of Derby, with significant experience in systematic reviews and meta-analysis.
