Session overview

Thematic analysis is a qualitative research method that is used to identify patterns within data. It can be used in a variety of ways to both describe and interpret findings. 

This face-to-face interactive workshop aims to develop learners understanding of thematic analysis, its theoretical and epistemological positioning, deductive and inductive approaches to analysis, and will also allow learners an opportunity to work through a provided data set at a level ‘beyond description’. 

It is designed to be suitable for students, academics, and industry or corporate researchers across all levels. Those wishing to develop skills in thematic analysis to a postgraduate and doctorate level will find this training particularly useful.
