Support Plans

If you have a diagnosed disability, long-term health condition, mental health condition or a specific learning difference (dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Dysgraphia) you may be able to get a Support Plan. A Support Plan outlines any reasonable adjustments that the university can put in place for the duration of your study. Your tutors will have access to your Support Plan so they can put this in place for you.

We provide a wide range of support for our students; this will vary, according to your individual need. It might include adjustments to the way you are taught or assessed, such as:

We would need to see some evidence e.g. letter from hospital/GP or a medical professional. Or a diagnostic report for Specific learning differences, ADHD and Autism

At your appointment, the advisor will also discuss with you about applying for extra funding from the Disabled Students Allowance and talk you through how you can apply.

To make an appointment, with one of our advisors to set up support, please fill in our online appointment request form if, you're a current student. Or email us if you're a prospective student. Once you've submitted your form or email, someone will contact you to make an appointment or discuss with you further. We hope to get back to you as soon as possible but please allow 48 hours for us to get back to you.
