Courses starting in January

Some of our courses offer a January start, giving you the opportunity to get your year off to a great start.

If starting a course in September doesn't align with your plans, our January starts give you the option to begin your studies at a different time. They're also another way to get started if you needed more time to complete your most recent qualification.

Starting a course in January means you don’t have to delay the pursuit of your goals. We’ll prepare you to take the next step in your career or study journey, helping you to advance your skills and develop your knowledge. Our expert teaching team will challenge your thinking and encourage you to develop new perspectives, motivating you to succeed beyond your own expectations.

You won't miss out on anything by starting in January - you'll experience the same expert teaching team, course content, and receive the same support and benefits as students who start in September. Plus you'll be welcomed into the new intake during January's second Freshers' week.

If you're joining us from another country, we will support you with a broad range of services for international students, as well as helping you to settle in the UK and make new friends.

Many of our courses that start in January can also be studied part-time, providing you with the opportunity to broaden your skills and knowledge in a way that works for you.

Derby is all a paradox; it’s compact but versatile, the ideal city size. Located in the Midlands, it’s known as the heart of the UK, so you can explore the rest of the country. Just get in the car, jump on the bus or take the train to start your new adventure.
