Faith and Religion: Chaplaincy at Derby, Chesterfield, Buxton and Leek

We offer a welcome to everyone, whatever their faith or world view. Our team of chaplains and faith consultants is here for all students and staff. We offer pastoral support, as well as advising on matters of faith and belief, providing an environment in which to practice and learn about your own faith and opportunities to explore other faith communities. If you want to explore the big questions about life and its purpose, or simply want a chat, we’ll be pleased to see you. 

We are based in the Multi-Faith Centre at the Kedleston Road Site, Derby* which provides an inclusive and safe space for prayer, worship, and meditation, as well as a place to relax and socialise. There is also a prayer room at the Britannia Mill site. 

We also run a programme of events and activities.

We are open from 9 am to 5 pm. If there is nobody around when you call, we will probably be elsewhere on campus. Just let reception at the Multi-Faith Centre know that you're looking for a Chaplain, and we'll contact you as soon as we can. You're also welcome to make an appointment.
