Environmental Policy

The University of Derby is responsible for the provision of higher and further education with campuses in Derby, Buxton, Leek, and Chesterfield. Sustainability is at the heart of our growth and development plans, and we understand how our growth can impact on our local and global environment. 

Our Environmental Management System (EMS) operates across all tutorial sites, excluding commercial and residential sites. The EMS ensures that the University is committed to the prevention of pollution and continual improvement in environmental performance.
