Returning students

Welcome back to our returning students! Here’s some key information to help you settle back in. Don’t forget to keep an eye on your emails for regular updates, and make sure you’re following @DerbyUniStudent on Instagram, Facebook and X.

Enrolment

Remember to complete your enrolment for 2025/26 - all students need to enrol online each academic year and, where required, select their modules. Your timetable will be available approximately two working days after you enrol, so please look out for this on UDo.

Induction

Once you’ve completed enrolment for the new academic year, you should also complete your University Induction. This will contain lots of helpful reminders and resources to help you prepare for your return to the University. 

Welcome and Freshers

Did you know that Welcome and Freshers activities are for returning students too? The University and Union of Students are busy organising a schedule of activities and events you can get involved in. Be sure to check your Unimail for details.

Supporting you

There’s a lot of support on offer to help you settle back into your studies, both on campus and virtually. If you feel you need additional support and would like to talk to someone, our StudentHub team can support your wellbeing, and point you in the right direction for support with finances, studying and more.
