Returning students

Welcome back to our returning students! We want to let you know key information about your return. We'll be providing regular updates, so make sure you check your Unimail account, Student News (login required) and follow @Derbyunistudent on InstagramFacebook and Twitter.

Enrolment

Please remember to enrol and log in with your existing University account before you start. You'll need to enrol online each academic year and, where required, select your modules. Your timetable will be available shortly so please look out for this on UDo.

Questions?

If you need any help with online enrolment, you can view our enrolment FAQs or contact us using our enquiry form and a member of the team will be in touch.

If you have any problems logging in, we recommend clearing your cookies and cache or trying on a private browser. You can contact us using the enquiry form below if you need help.

Induction

In addition to your programme induction, you’ll also be invited to complete your University Induction. You will find your University Induction in your Module area on Blackboard. Your University Induction contains some useful reminders and resources to help you prepare for your return to the University and to continue your studies.

Welcome Heroes

There’ll be student Welcome Heroes (in bright pink tops) around the University sites during the first few weeks of term. They’re there to help new and returning students find their way around and assist with any queries. Be sure to say hi and ask for help if you need it!

If you’re interested in working as a Welcome Hero yourself in the future, sign up to the Student Employment Agency (SEA) and keep an eye out for the job adverts. We’d love to work with you!

Welcome and Freshers

Did you know that Welcome and Freshers activities are for returning students too? The University and Union of Students are busy organising a schedule of activities and events you can get involved in. Be sure to check your Unimail for details.
