Your next steps

Set up multifactor authentication (MFA) on your Uni account

It's really important to set up your multifactor authentication (MFA) methods.

You’ll be guided on screen to do this when you log in to your Uni account for the first time.

It is a good idea to do this now so that your additional security methods will be set up before you enrol or log in to any other University systems.

Once you start this, the MFA screen will open in a new browser tab, so remember to return to this page afterward to follow your student path.

Why is multifactor authentication important?

MFA ensures your uni account is safe and secure. We take your cybersecurity seriously, and MFA makes sure no one can access your Uni account except you. It combines something you know, like your username and password, with something you have, like a smartphone or authenticator app.

Set up your MFA now

Go to your unimail (University email account).

After you have set up your MFA methods you’ll be taken to your new Unimail inbox.
