Accommodation for international students

Studying in the UK is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and choosing the right accommodation is key to ensuring you have a happy, trouble-free stay in the UK. We aim to make halls a home from home and encourage students to join in our events programme to make new friends.

The best choice for international students

Our award-winning halls are the best choice for international students, offering a wide range of rooms to suit all budgets, great facilities and a safe and secure environment close to your lectures and on the Unibus route. As a member of our halls community, you'll be able to meet, socialise and make friends with residents from all seven of our halls of residence via our free Residence Life programme of activities and events.

Award-winning accommodation

We want everyone in halls to have the best possible experience and so, we were delighted to be named Best University Housing and Best Environmental Management (UK & Ireland) in the 2023 Global Student Living Awards.

These awards are extra special to us as the results are 100% based on direct feedback from home and international students – a true testament to our fantastic Student Living team who is always on hand to help.

Did you know?

Many private accommodation providers promote a cheaper weekly charge but don't include bills in the price or have 51-week contracts so they end up being much more expensive overall. University halls include all the bills, have shorter, 42-week contracts and only ask for an up-front payment of £50.

For peace of mind, book your accommodation BEFORE you arrive

You need to book your accommodation prior to your arrival to ensure you have a place to stay during your studies. Arriving without accommodation can be very stressful and expensive, so plan ahead and avoid the hassle. Book your halls room now!

I was worried about not making any friends in university so I opted for halls because that meant I would be able to meet new people. Thankfully, my flatmates were kind and we got along nicely.
