Bedding packs contain: a duvet, a duvet cover, a pillow, a pillowcase and a fitted sheet.  We'll use the pack to make up your bed for you before you arrive.

If you need additional items, you can order them from Unikitout and they will be waiting for you on arrival at your hall.  Use the promotional code DERBY10 to get 10% discount when you order. Remember if you're coming from a country with a warm climate, you'll need to bring some warm clothes with you!

From the moment you arrive in the UK, our University is on hand to assist you.  At the beginning of each semester, we provide a free airport pick-up service where we meet and greet you and take you directly to your hall of residence.

Nunnery Court is everything I need in one place and it is so functional and has so much space for me to have my own time and really be able to grow and develop in a comfortable secure and welcoming space.

A landlord you can trust

Student safety and wellbeing is our priority.  Throughout the pandemic, we have worked hard to keep all our residents and staff safe and have kept them informed of developments regularly.

International student Leigh Johnson, smiling.

Thank you for your many updates on the pandemic and what you were/are doing to help reduce risk and spread of the virus ... You have honestly gone above and beyond and your constant updates helped me to feel secure and confident in the decisions I was making.

Award-winning accommodation

Our halls of residence were winners of three awards in the 2019 National Student Housing Survey Awards, as well as being awarded a quality mark for our accommodation for International students.

We were winners of the following awards:

  • Best Customer Service
  • Best Student Wellbeing
  • Best Environmental Management.

The National Student Housing Survey is the largest survey on the quality of student accommodation in the UK, with around 35,000 students completing it every year. The results are 100% based on direct feedback from home and international students and focus on all aspects of a student's experience in their accommodation.
