Getting started in UDo

Your first step as a new student is to log into your student portal, UDo

UDo holds all of the information, advice and services you need to support your journey and keep you up to date with what’s happening. You should have access to this within 2 working days of being confirmed onto your programme.

Once you have logged in, following the steps below, head straight to the Getting Started: Studying Online tile to ensure you are all set up and ready to start with your studies.

How to log into UDo

From the derby.ac.uk website, select UDO which will appear in the bottom right-hand corner of each page.

You will see this box pop up - Click on ‘Current Students/ Applicants’ and accept the ‘Terms of Use’

Enter your username (Student ID) and your enrolment password to access the Student Portal.

If you forget your password there is an option to reset your password.

UDo is also available as an App you can install it by searching DerbyUni in their App Stores.

Once you have successfully logged in, you will see your new UDo homepage, which will look something like this. If you screen does not look like this, please login using a new internet browser or clear you cache. Details on how to do this can be found below in the ‘Difficulties logging on?’ section.

Difficulties logging on?

Remember - it can take up to 48 hours for full access following confirmation of enrolment. Please note, though you may be able to see your module area, the learning materials and activities will not be live until the start of term.

Student tiles not showing?

If you are not able to see the additional tiles now available to you as a student, It may be that browser is not showing the latest version of the portal since your profile was updated to include the additional tiles.
