Travelling to our Derby Campus

Public travel is more sustainable than single-occupancy cars. Discover the public transport and Unibus options for travelling to and around our Derby campus.

All of the Derby sites are near the city centre; the Derby campus can be walked end to end in 25 minutes, including university sites, halls of residence, and shops.

Cycling is an excellent, healthy way of getting around Derby and we benefit from many good local cycling routes.

Motorcycles can park for free in the motorcycle covered bays at our Kedleston Road and Markeaton Street sites.

Limited amount of parking permits are available for the Derby City Council Markeaton Park and eligible students can apply for a parking permit for a limited number of spaces at Kedleston road.

Staff members will need to apply for a staff parking permit to be able to park on site.
