We can help your business de-carbonise by focusing on your water, waste and ecology. We're offering free technical support and consultancy to eligible SMEs, through the DE-Carbonise collaborative project, which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Rosemary Horry
Senior Lecturer in Environmental Management

Rosemary is Senior Lecturer in Environmental Management and her research is on environmental management systems (EMSs) such as ISO 14001, the sustainability of local communities, and public engagement with the environment. She has worked with the Forestry Commission and Encore to develop their EMSs.

Dr David Elliott
Associate Professor in Microbiology

Dr. David Elliott is a microbial ecologist specialising in the roles of microbes in low productivity soils including drylands and the cryosphere. He leads the BSc (hons) Biology programme and teaches a variety of topics in Human and Environmental Sciences.
