Enscite offers funding and support to small-to-medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in the aerospace, rail and automotive supply chain. We help these businesses to grow and make operational improvements.

To benefit from this scheme, you need to be based in Derby city, Derbyshire, Nottingham city or Nottinghamshire - this is the area covered by the Local Enterprise Partnership, D2N2.

Enscite is a partnership between the University of Derby and Aston University. The programme supports Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) within the aerospace, rail or automotive supply chain. Enscite is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

What we offer

A series of funded workshops - Learning Labs

This series of workshops is aimed at supporting you and your business to grow. They are suitable for all levels of employee and are funded by the ERDF so there will be no cost to you. Through online learning, the workshops will give you useful tools and techniques that you can take back to your business. They focus on seven key areas:

Grant funding for graduates (KEIs)

Employing a recent graduate for a particular project can help you to improve your competitiveness and productivity. With our Knowledge Exchange and Innovation (KEI) fund, you can get up to £5,950 towards the cost of employing them.

The benefits to you:

Your KEI post can be in any discipline e.g. operations, marketing, HR, technical/engineering and you will set their salary. The employee just needs to have graduated within the last five years.

What does it cost to attend?

The workshops are part of our Enscite programme which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). This means the workshop is fully funded and offered without any cost to your organisation.
