Programme Lead: iPGCE

Andy Bloor is a Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education (ITE), Programme Lead for the iPGCE and Pathway Lead for the iQTS Pilot programme. His fields of interest are around International and Comparative Education and Social, Emotional and Mental Health Difficulties in children, particularly those with Attachment Disorder and neuro-atypical children.

Trevor is Programme Leader for BA (Hons) and FdA Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND). His research interests include the etiology of autism and ADHD, issues and debates in the area of SEND and working with individuals with complex needs.

As Senior Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education, Maria Dent supports students to be confident teachers of science. She is a Chartered Science Teacher and PSQM Hub Leader. Maria's PhD research explored the influence of celebrity scientists on the uptake of science; she is a narrative researcher, developing creative approaches to data presentation.
