Saint Werburgh’s Church and Bold Lane

I have focused on bringing biophilic design into the City of Derby by showcasing a botanical garden within one of the most beautiful buildings within Derby City that was derelict for many years. This would help the city become healthier, more educated in plants, and help with tourism. I also focused on removing Bold Lane car park and creating a community building and vertical farm for the people of Derby to grow produce, sell it and learn to cook. Also the river flows under Bold Lane, so I have reopened it to bring the Peak District to the city.

This part of the city has a lot of history that is forgotten, but through my designs I have been able to bring back elements of that history back into the area, as our history is very important to keep and pass down to the next generations. I have learnt many new skills within AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Revit and Lumion, as well as working in a professional manner. My main passion has been to add planting within my designs to create healthy environments for humans and other living creatures inside and outside.
