Midlands Aerospace Alliance will be delivering the below workshop, to local organisations, providing information around the aerospace industry. Full details of this are yet to be confirmed but if this would be of interest to your organisation, please register your interest and we can send over the confirmed details in due course.

Working in the Aerospace Industry

Thursday 16 May 8.30 - 12.30 (tbc)

Location: Institute for Innovation in Sustainable Engineering, University of Derby, Quaker Way, Derby DE1 3HD

This workshop will be delivered by the Midlands Aerospace Alliance in partnership with the University of Derby, with a maximum of 30 individuals able to attend due to room size and catering. The bookings for this workshop will be on a first come first served basis due to expected demand.

The agenda for the workshop is set to be finalised shortly, and will be sent out to any individuals added to the register, or who have expressed an interest in attending (depending on availability) but may look like something such as the below:

• 08:30-09:15   Networking and Refreshments
• 09:15-10:15   Session 1 – Current sector status, what are the challenges in this area, what are the opportunities moving forward
• 10:15-10:30   Break
• 10:30-11:30   Session 2 – How can my business get involved in this sector? What support is available through MAA and UoD?
• 11:30-12:15   Networking and lunch.

The final agenda will be completed in due course and sent out to all interested individuals.
