The University’s Sports Injury Clinic provides sports therapy services in a student-led environment closely supervised by our highly trained sports therapy teaching team.

Face-to-Face Appointments

The Student-led Sports Injury Clinic is running from Monday 2 October 2023 until the Christmas break on Mondays 1pm-4pm, Tuesdays 9am-4pm and Thursdays 9am-12pm.

The student led sports injury clinic offer the following ​services and these are available for staff and students

It is £5 for students and £7.50 for staff. The patient will receive a 45-minute appointment in the Sports Therapy specialist clinic space in Kirtley Building. Book your place now.

Screening of health, lifestyle and body

Would you like a screening of health, lifestyle and body, to help identify and track a targeted approach to your physical activity, training and generally wellbeing. 

We are offering Fit2Go Body Screening for £20. Find out more here

In addition to booking in the clinic, please sign up through the website link above and select the University of Derby Sport Therapy Clinic to complete pre-attendance questionnaires. 

Research project

Please note we are also conducting a research study on the body screening. There is a 50% chance that you will not receive your results if participating in the research project until 12 weeks later. As such we are offering research participants two free screenings 12 weeks apart.
