Peter Wright is a solicitor and the Chair of the Law Society Technology & Law Reference Group at Chancery Lane, London. He is also Managing Director of DigitalLawUK, dealing in Data Protection, Privacy & Security, Cyber Security, Social Media Law, E-Commerce & Freedom of Information Act matters. Clients include large membership organisations, financial services, professional services firms, creative and digital firms, cloud storage providers and broadband infrastructure providers in the UK, Europe, North America & Middle East. Peter is the Law Society Council Member for Yorkshire, representing the interests of Solicitors across Yorkshire at Chancery Lane in London, and member of the Law Society Membership Board. Chair of the Law Society Technology & Law Reference Group. He is the author of the Law Society Cyber Security Toolkit and the Clio Guide to International Data Residency.
Annmarie Hanlon is a digital and social media marketing author, speaker, teacher and trainer. Starting in 1999, when she worked in ‘internet marketing’, she has worked on digital marketing strategy and planning projects in sectors including legal and financial services, software and IT, communications, advertising, media, health and leisure. Annmarie is a Senior Lecturer in Digital Marketing at the University of Derby where she is also studying for a PhD in the strategic business use of social media networks. She is an award winning Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, a Member of the Marketing Institute Ireland and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Marketors.
Philippa Bowen is the founder of the Business Ignition Group; a Derby-based consultancy delivering bespoke strategies and practical support to a host of sectors, both private and public, helping Multi-nationals, Blue Chip firms, charities and start-ups. She was the Commercial Manager delivering the “Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red” exhibition at the Tower of London for the artist Paul Cummins. A national and international speaker on Social Media issues, Philippa is delighted to be working with the University of Derby supporting its Business School students.
