Costs for international undergraduate students

No direct funding is provided by the government towards the cost of provision for international students. International students pay higher fees than home (UK) students, with the additional fees going towards additional recruitment and support costs.

Learning and teaching: includes the costs of staff who teach and directly support your learning (eg lecturers and technicians), course materials and costs associated with running your course, the creation and continued enhancement of teaching spaces you use as part of your course (eg lecture theatres and specialist spaces) and graduation ceremonies
Library and learner support: the learning space itself and costs required to run this, student experience and assessing the academic quality and standards of your course
Widening access: bursaries for eligible students and widening participation activity, learning resource vouchers
Wellbeing and facilities: eg Transport, Student Centre, Chaplaincy, Sports Development, Student Wellbeing
Careers: Careers Advice, Student Employment Agency and Undergraduate Research Scholarship Scheme (URSS)
Union of Students: the University's contribution to the running costs (excludes costs of providing office space)
