Course description

This CPD session will focus on the delivery of the Computing curriculum providing practical resources for use within the primary classroom.

It will cover the three strands of the curriculum:

  1. Computer Science – the understanding and applying of computational thinking in order to think analytically to solve problems
  2. Information Technology – the discovery of how technology works and how to use the technology
  3. Digital Literacy – the creative and safe use of information and communication technologies to represent ideas and present work

Progression and assessment ideas will be discussed, alongside the exploration of practical ideas that could be used in the classroom.
