Our research

Research output in the Institute of Education focuses on international education, including global perspectives of childhood, career guidance through the International Centre for Guidance Studies (iCeGS) and publication of core texts on contemporary issues and comparative education.

Inclusion and SEND is a key theme of the Centre for Education Research and Innovation (CERI) and there is established work around children’s play spaces and learning analytics. Our students engage with and present practitioner research across all sectors of education, childhood and training.
