Ways to study - Postgraduate courses

Postgraduate study means different things to different people. A part-time masters degree, full-time teacher training, a shorter professionally-accredited qualification or an in-depth research degree. That’s why we offer a full range of postgraduate qualifications.

We also offer different ways to study: part-time, online or full-time. You could even choose to start a course in January instead of September. This flexibility makes it easier for you to fit learning into your life.

But what can you expect from a part-time, online or January start course? And how is the experience different to studying full-time? Read on to find out.

Part-time courses

Our part-time postgraduate courses are popular because they are a good way of fitting study into your existing lifestyle. If you are already working for example, and want to gain a professional qualification to advance your career, part-time study is a practical option.

Courses starting in January

Our lives don’t always fit around the academic calendar. Fortunately, many of our postgraduate courses also have the option to start in January. An MSc in Health and Social Care or Financial Leadership, an MA in Fashion and Textiles or Marketing Management – whatever you choose, you'll study the same content with the same expert tutors as the students who start in September.
