Stephen is a Senior Lecturer in Applied Sedimentology and GeoEnergy and Programme Leader for the MSc GeoEnergy Programme. Stephen teaches across the broad field of sedimentology, stratigraphy and subsurface analysis and characterisation at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. He undertakes a wide range of field and laboratory activities with collaborators around the globe.

Brett's current PhD project follows directly on from his degree’s third-year independent study project focusing on how the palaeontology in Malta can help us understand modern climate change. 

Van Bac is an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering. His work is based predominantly in different disciplines of engineering, including structural, mechanical, manufacturing and medical-biological engineering. 

Crispin Owen is a Technical Manager with responsibility for the strategic development, operation and management of high-quality and complex technical resources and support services across the College of Arts, Humanities and Education, College of Science and Engineering, and the Institute of Innovation in Sustainable Engineering.

Dr Pritchard is a Senior Lecturer in Geoscience.

Dr Debadayita (Deb) Raha is a lecturer in Human and Developmental Geography at the University of Derby. Her research interests lie in the multidisciplinary field of social science and environmental impact on people's lives. She has previously worked at the University of Nottingham looking at whole systems analysis of small scale renewable energy for rural communities in UK and India.

Andrew is an ecologist and conservation biologist and teach these specialisms at undergraduate and postgraduate level. He is a Programme Leader for Zoology and supervises a range of PhD students. Andrew is also the research lead for 'Eco-sustainability and evolution' in the University of Derby's 'Environmental Sustainability Research Centre'.
