DCFC VIP Offer Holder Event

An Afternoon with Derby County Football Club

Our offer holders were invited to an exclusive VIP event at Derby County Football Club on Thursday 4 April 2024. The event was hosted by RamsTV Presenter Owen Bradley and Professor Chris Bussell, Pro-Vice Chancellor and Dean of the College of Science and Engineering, welcomed guests. This was followed by a Q&A session with a panel consisting of Stephen Pearce (DCFC CEO), Paul Warne (DCFC Head Coach), Lauren Asquith (Head of Lifelong Learning), Conor Washington (DCFC First Team Player), Dr Andy Hooton (Head of School of Sport and Exercise Science) and Chris Hall (Programme Leader for Sport Journalism).

It was an amazing opportunity for guests to get a rare glimpse into the world of professional sport. They also had the chance to connect with our academics and current students, as well as participate in a changing room and pitch side tour.
