Picnic at Chatsworth

On Monday 20 May, our international students were personally invited by University of Derby Chancellor, Lord Burlington, to an exclusive event in the grounds of his magnificent stately home, Chatsworth House. It was a great opportunity for our students to experience the serene Peak District and build new friendships, all while exploring Chatsworth's beautiful gardens and enjoying a traditional cream tea for lunch. The University of Derby is renowned for it's warm welcome, and this event is yet another example of our commitment to helping our international students to feel part of our vibrant community from the moment they arrive.
