Established in 1909, Loughborough College is steeped in history and renowned for providing excellent levels of high-quality education. The College’s courses are developed in consultation with industry professionals and designed to ensure that learners are expertly trained and ready for the workplace.

In June 2017, the College was awarded a Silver rating in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF), which recognises that the College delivers teaching, learning and outcomes for its students that meet rigorous national quality requirements for UK Higher Education.

All Loughborough College students automatically become members of Loughborough Students’ Union (LSU), which offers hundreds of opportunities to get involved and get active. Students are also given the opportunity to develop business acumen and entrepreneurial skills via the Young Enterprise Start-Up Programme.

Enrolment

Students apply directly to Loughborough College (FdA Children’s and Young People’s Services / BA (Hons) Education Studies (Top Up)) or via UCAS (all other programmes) and enrol in September.

Award Ceremonies

Awarding students are invited to the University of Derby award ceremonies which are held annually in July and November and the Loughborough College Graduation Ceremony held in September.
