Birmingham Metropolitan College is a large FE College of approx. 20,000 learners, formed after a merger between Matthew Boulton College and Sutton Coldfield College in 2009. This was followed in 2013 with a merger with Stourbridge College to form BMET as it stands, covering both Birmingham and the Black Country. The college has 5 campuses however, the proposal is for the FdSc Professional Development (Health and Social Care) to be delivered at the Matthew Boulton campus only.

The College offers a wide range of courses from pre-entry to level 5 and works with a variety of HE partners to deliver level 4/5 programmes, including the University of Worcester, Staffordshire University and the University of Wolverhampton.

The University’s partnership arrangement with Birmingham Metropolitan College is currently in the process of Closing and enrolment has now ceased.

Award Ceremonies

Awarding students are invited to attend the University of Derby Awards Ceremonies which are held annually in July and November.
