Starting their journey in the city of Istanbul, Axcel International Academy gives students the opportunity to benefit from the University of Derby’s reputable Bachelor’s degrees.

Axcel International Academy is a Pearson-approved centre, providing career-focused higher-education programmes that equip students with the skills and knowledge they need to excel in their personal and professional lives. Through a unique blend of academic rigour and practical experience, students are empowered to achieve their accelerated excellence.

Axcel International Academy bridges the gap between graduates facing unemployment and employers facing a shortage of skills in the labour market. Students benefit from partnerships with businesses that provide trainings, internships, and specialised site visits, and from the hands-on teaching approach by experts in their fields, ensuring students graduate with the skills and experience needed to become valued assets in the workforce.

Driven by the belief that every student has the right to a quality education, Axcel breaks down barriers to access for international students. Axcel’s English preparation courses facilitate studying in the UK, and their Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) scheme allows students to obtain extra credits for studies they have already completed, meaning anyone can excel, regardless of their background.

Enrolment

Students can apply directly to Axcel International Academy at any time of the year. There are 2 intake rounds, in October and February.

Axcel students can receive their official conditional offers from the University of Derby by the end of their first year of study.

After their first 2 years at Axcel, students have the option to progress to their 3rd year at the University of Derby in the UK, and to obtain their official Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Derby.
