Lecturer in Hospitality, Business, and Leisure, Prateek Adhikari has past experience of working as a consultant for high-end restaurants and hotels. He teaches across a range of Hospitality, Leisure, and Business Programmes.

Lecturer in Business and Management, Dr Salman Ahmad, has been involved in research and delivering educational programs since 2011. The driving force behind his research is the desire to gain, comprehend and generate new knowledge and communicate it to a wider audience.

Lecturer for Business and Management, Nauman Moazam Ali, is a senior business analyst and has vast experience as an academic professional, working with different Higher education institutes in the UK and overseas.

Senior Lecturer in Business and Management, Dr Valentina Gorchakova, returned to academia after a number of years working in business, including running a start-up company in marketing and events, and for the UN Development Programme. Valentina joined the University of Derby Online Learning in 2017 and became a Programme Leader of the BSc (Hons) in Business and Management in 2018.

Academic Lead Accounting Finance and Economics, Dr Tony Stevenson entered the Higher education sector as an international tutor teaching, Finance, and Mergers and Acquisitions from a practitioner’s perspective.
