Internal Review of an Information Request

This process is available for anyone wishing to appeal our decision or the process used in answering a request made under one of the following pieces of legislation:

This process should only be used in conjunction with information requests and should not be used for any other appeal or complaint.

These appeals and complaints should then be emailed to FOI@derby.ac.uk, within 40 days of receipt of the response. We aim to response within 20 working days, if it's going to take longer we'll let you know when we expect to respond.

This is a single-stage process. Once a decision has been reached we will notify the requester, including our reasons for this decision. If dissatisfied with the outcome, the next stage is to ask the Information Commissioner to review the decision by contacting:
