Technician - Biomedical Science

Mary joined The College of Science and Engineering at the University of Derby in December 2019 to be part of the technical team supporting the delivery of practical classes in Biomedical & Forensic Science.

Technical Team Leader - Engineering & Technology

Richard is Technical Team Leader based at the Markeaton Street campus. He has operational responsibility for technical services and research across the College of Science and Engineering. He has worked as a technician for over 20 years with experience of working in different subject and discipline areas.

Helen Clarke is a technician for Health, Psychology and Social Care at the University of Derby. She works across colleges in nursing simulation and practice, as well as within Therapeutic Arts.

Anita is a Team Leader in Creative Media. She works across the College of Arts supporting both staff and students with their learning and teaching resources required for Media courses.

Technical Instructor for Entertainment Engineering and Technical Lead for Makerspace

As a Technical Instructor for the Entertainment Engineering degrees at the University of Derby, Daniel Cooper supports staff and students with their learning and teaching activities. He also acts as the Technical Lead of the student-run Makerspace. Daniel has a hands on approach to learning and encourages all students to get involved.

Technician of Biomedical and Forensic Science

As a laboratory technician, Martin's role is primarily focused on delivering practical classes for all levels of learning at the university, as well as supervising and assisting lab-based projects. He is mainly involved in chemistry-based procedures for the Forensics, Biomedical science, and Human Biology courses, though he also engages in molecular biology labs and fieldwork as well.

Sport, Outdoor and Exercise Science Technician

Anya is a Sport, Outdoor and Exercise Science technician with a focus on biomechanics and performance analysis. 

Technical Instructor Supporting the Theatre Arts Programmes at Derby Theatre

Leanne manages theatre productions and guides the students through various production roles, from set design, set construction, stage management and technical theatre.
