What is healthy eating? [Emoji image of a thinking face]

Camera cuts to a young girl stood next to a table showing a range of food products.

"Hi everyone! Today we're talking about healthy eating. Over here we have vegetables fruit and salad" She points to some fruit and vegetable items on the table.

"We only need five to seven servings of this a day."

"Over here we have cereal, bread, pasta, potatoes and rice." We only need three to five servings of this a day." Points to food items on table.

"And you can see all the rest"

Camera pans to show all the food items on the table.

"Over here we have salt, sugar and fat. We don't need any sugar in our diet, most foods already have sugar in."

"I'm gonna challenge myself to have two cups of water a day and to have less salt and ready-made meals. I can only have five grams of salt each day and my sister can only have three grams of salt."

Camera pans to the younger sister sat at the table who points to herself.

Older sister: "Ready-made pizzas have five grams of salt in and if you make your own pizzas then they only have one and a half grams of salt in." Camera shows a packaged ready made pizza on the table.

Sisters speak together: "We can't wait to have lunch, what will your challenge be?"

[Music]

We have challenged ourselves to drink more water and eat less salt!

Camera cuts to the older sister sitting at the dining table.

"Hi everyone, it's been a couple of weeks from our last video. I was given two challenges to drink more water and eat less salt... let's see what the doctor says!"

Younger sister enters the room with a toy stethoscope and pretends to check her sisters' blood pressure.

Younger sister: "Oh wow your blood pressure is much better!"

Older sister: "Eating salts can give you high blood pressure, kidney problems, problems with your bones and heart problems. Drinking more water can help your body temperature and it can help your digestion and it can pump goodness around your body. And now let's separate the bad food from the good foods."

She brings a small basket to the table filled with pretend toy food items. She takes the items out of the basket one by one as she talks about each of them.

"Fish is known as brain food that is very good for you, and seafood is also very good for you. Fruits and vegetables you need the most of. There are some more fruits and more fish, and more vegetables. Pasta...you only need a little bit of."

"Did you know that brown bread is way better for you than white bread. And meat you'll need a little bit in your diet. Cranberry juice is very good for you and orange juice is also good."

"Pizza has added salt and so you don't need so you don't need any more. If you remember our last video then you will know that making your own pizza has less salt and it tastes really yummy! Milk helps your bones grow bigger."

"and if you still like having your bad food like pizzas and burgers then you can add salad or some good foods."

"and good luck with being healthy!"
