Lecturer in Health and Social Care, Michelle Brooks-Ucheaga, is an accredited Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist, EMDR Therapist (Trauma) and trained clinical supervisor for MSc trainee CBT Psychotherapists.

Lecturer in Nursing, Rachel Spink, has a wealth of experience in her career as a Registered Nurse Orthopaedics, Research Nurse, Practice Nurse, District Nurse, Health Visitor, Specialist Public Health Nurse, Nurse Prescriber and mentor for pre and post registration students.

Academic Lead

Dr Alan R Williams joined the University as Academic Lead in April 2019. He led the online nursing and health portfolio and since August 2022 leads the professional doctorate in the College. Alan is a Registered Nurse (Adult and Mental Health) with over 20 years’ experience in the NHS before moving to academia in 2006 leading pre-registration nursing and health programmes.
