Application process

You are just three steps away from starting your online course

The application process for online courses has three simple steps which can all be completed online. It’s free to apply and there is no obligation to enrol if you are successful.

Here is a brief summary of what you need to do and what you can expect at each stage.

Check our application deadlines first and then complete our online application form in English.

As well as obvious information such as your personal details, you will need some key documents such as photo ID and evidence of any previous qualifications you have. You will also need to write a personal statement of around 500 words, which usually explains why you want to take the course, how you feel you could benefit, and why you think you are a suitable candidate (we'll expect you to talk about your previous experience or qualifications here).

You can see each section of the application form and what's required in our 8-minute video walkthrough.

Once you have started your application, you have 90 days to complete it so you'll have time to get together all the information you need.

Start application

You should receive an automatic email acknowledgement soon after submitting your application. Our online admissions advisers will then review your application and contact you within one working week.

If your application is successful, we'll make you an 'unconditional offer'. If we still need some information from you, eg certificates and references, we may make you a 'conditional offer'. If your application is unsuccessful, we'll still let you know.

We'll ask you to enrol onto your course around four to six weeks before the start of term. At this point, you'll need to pay something to secure your place, unless you are applying for a loan, being sponsored by your employer or receiving some other funding.
